Ocean swell and tension added by sequence from o-ctrl through mimeophon. Thanks to makenoise for the sample (waterfall sampled at various stages). Wogglebug randomised splice shifting created the ocean swell ;).
Experimental recording idea i had in summer 2017, i buried two contact microphones half a foot deep in a rock beach and captured the noise ambience picked up in the rocks, as well as the tide coming over the microphones eventually. If you have any use of these recordings please forward my way i would love to see what can be done with these.
Simulation of fingal´s cave (mendelssohn) similar sea swell using modules of the make noise shared system and others to create the feeling of being on a small boat being borne up on the wave. Fits onto morphagene. If you want to know how i made it in more detail, pm me. Enjoy.
Waves with an interesting stereo effect. No processing, this is the original recording. Recorded on phone. I was lucky to be on the beach when there were no people there, so there are no extraneous noises.

The beach at aldeburgh is made of pebbles so you can hear little of that as i walk around. You can the crashing of the waves against the pebbles and that fizzing noise as the sound dies down and the water recedes from the beach. This was recorded using a zoom h2n in 16-bit. Wav format.
Wav-file recorded with the zoom h1 with internal microphone. Recorded 200 meters from the sea outside a window of a building. We hear the waves, some men talk under the window. Recorded at 02:00 in the morning in ostend, belgium. Bonny orbit sound library.
Another recording of slightly faster/more frequent waves lapping and crashing against a break water/wall with some quite a lot of spraying sound. Again, there is this stereo effect of the waves hitting from left to right. This would be a really good sound for any on boat/stormy sea needs.
Recorded on may 23, 2015. A recording of me walking barefoot along the beach. You can hear the crackle of the pebbles under my feet and the splash of the waves on the rocky coastline.
